Grading: Quizzes (10%):  Best 4 of 5 (or so), given with at least one class day's notice.
Exams (60% or 40%*):  October 7, November 10, and December 15.
Final Exam (30% or 50%*):  Cumulative: Tuesday, Dec. 22 and Wednesday, Dec. 23.
 
                     * If the Final Exam grade is better than the lowest of the three Exam grades.
Make-up exams may be given by special arrangement in advance, but will be (much) more difficult than the original,
otherwise the Final Exam grade will be used in it's place (see above).
 
Note:  No grade of "W" will automatically be given by me!!  If you desire a "W,"  you must process a withdrawal form that is signed by me!!!
